  • An innate love for dogs and an investment in their overall well-being
  • Superior communication skills with your peers and our customers
  • The ability to embrace our training program to learn animal behavior, off-leash play group safety, and pet care techniques with a high level of communication
  • The desire to follow instructions and keep our space clean and safe
  • Team spirit and the ability to work with others and support the purpose and values of Canine Crews
  • The ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time, as well as the ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance
  • Weekend and holiday availability - this is a service-based business, and we are busiest during holidays and the summer. 


Canine Crews hires part-time and full-time positions, but we do require a minimum of 3 shifts a week to ensure our staff knows the dogs and understands their behaviors. Our typical shifts are opening shifts (around 6:30 or 7 AM until 2 or 3 PM) and closing shifts (between noon and 2 PM until 8 PM), with shorter variations for weekend shifts.
