Canine Crews has created our MINDful Day School just for your dog!

MINDful Day School is curated, one-on-one activities tailored to your dogs' unique mental and physical needs in a private room away from daycare groups. Mental stimulation is just as crucial as active off-leash time for a well-rounded pup and our MINDful Day School program is a series of intentional activities individually designed around your dog’s interests and needs.  Their day will be divided into equal parts physical activities, mind work and rest.

Here’s how MINDful Day School enriches your dog’s day (Side effects may include wiggle butts, tail wags, and nose boops):

• Sensory - Sight, sound, smell, touch and taste. Your dog will explore a rewarding combination of activities designed to stimulate their specific canine senses.
• Cognitive - We use puzzles, basic nose work, and hiding food or objects to give your dog's mental stimulation a workout.
• Social - Manners, please! Guided interaction with people in different settings helps promote proper social skills.  We also work on specific cues & training.
• Food - Work reaps rewards! We use your dog's natural foraging instincts in new and interesting ways to captivate their attention. We’ll bring the treats. 
• Play - Balance all that hard cognitive work with fun breaks. We’ll choose activities your dog loves most!
  

MINDful: Why Is Mental Stimulation So Important?

Many dogs are looking for a "job", a meaningful task or role that’s not always easy to find at home or in regular daycare settings. And an “underemployed” dog can feel stress or frustration, which might manifest itself in acting out or destruction. 

Many dogs have selective or reactive behaviors towards other dogs and do not thrive in a group play daycare setting.  We offer a separate space with their own enclosure while our staff a focus on positive experiences of mental, physical and fun activities.

Canine Crews has provided professional pet care since 2009; we consulted certified dog trainers as well as other pet care professionals to provide a safe space for your dog to build confidence and help reduce reactivity to other dogs and environments.

Confidence takes time to build so we ask for a 30 day commitment in order to see our proven results. Give your dog a safe space for them to have fun!
